Day 28: tweet tweet

Well, only 3 more posts to go after today and I will have completed my blogtoberfest mission. I can’t believe I’ve lasted this long!

I had another rugby match today, our fourth of the season. We managed a very triumphant 64-0, not bad, and I got 3 tries, even better.

Anyway, my mum’s come to visit me this weekend and while I was warming up she took herself off for a little wonder around the village and found a little craft shop.

In this little craft shop was a very nice lady doing a little bit of needle felting. My mum had the sudden brainwave of getting a starter kit as a thank you for feeding her all weekend.

So whilst nursing my bruises and a slightly sore neck I thought I’d give it a go.

After much huffing and puffing I got to here…

Then a little more huffing an a lot of stabbing myself In the finger got me to here!

What do you think? Still quite a bit to go but I’m pretty sure you can tell what it is.

An added bonus to this is that the pain I’m now feeling in my fingers from all that repetitive stabbing has distracted me from all my rugby bruises.

Just one more thing, for anybody that hasn’t needle felted and wants to try it, you don’t really have to stab yourself, I just got a little over excited.

Day 17: travelcrochet

Well, I survived my little trip and I’ve finally made it back to my own bed. It’s not the going places bit that I don’t like, I LOVE seeing somewhere new, meeting new people and having new experiences, it’s the actual getting there part that bothers me. It just always takes so long!!! I’m still working on my teleportation device, which I’m confident will solve all my little problems! As soon as I’ve cracked it I’ll let you know!

One way to take the pain out of travelling us to get crafty! It really helps to pass the time (not advised will driving).

This is my little travel case.

I don’t fit all my clothes in here, that’s a much bigger bag, this is just for the important stuff like tickets, passport, money and…..

A mini travel crochet kit!
I have ventured out with this before when I went to Tenerife in the summer and made some mini granny squares, but this time I thought I’d try some thing else.

It’s not really anything yet, just a little circle. I’m sure i’ll find a use for it somewhere…

Early winter warmer

I know what you’re thinking, it’s only been a week since my last post, surely I can’t be writing another one so soon. Well, I’ve been very busy!
I’ve decided to do this whole post on my phone. All the photos were taken with my phone and I’m even writing this on my phone. Mental.

Anyway, down to business….

I’ve had this little project in my head for a little while…

It was a request from my cousin for her little girl. I spend ages trying to find a pattern, but couldn’t get one I liked so I’ve just made it up.

It sort of turned out how I imagined, but after making my last project it was quite nice to not follow a pattern and just go with the flow.

Ta da!!!!

What do you think? My first hat of the wrap up warm season. I just hope it fits!

Corrie’s final thoughts
It’s so much fun posting from my phone! This literally took me 2 mins! You could be hearing a lot more from me….
